BATTLE OF THE BADGES
Join the Monrovia Police Officers' Association Enforcers

as they take on the Monrovia Fire Department in a charity fundraiser basketball game. The event will take place on June 1, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. in the Monrovia High School gymnasium. There is a $5 entry fee and children 12 and under are free. Click on Battle of the Badges Flyer for more details of the event. All proceeds from this event are being donated to the American Cancer Society. Please come enjoy the game and help contribute to a great cause. We all need to come together to help find a cure for cancer.

For the past 20 years, Monrovia has utilized a Community Activist Policing Program that emphasizes working with the community by empowering them with the resources they need to help reduce crime and blight in their neighborhoods to proactively solve long-term problems.

ANIMAL CONTROL
The Monrovia Police Department operates its own Animal Control services. Officers are trained to deal with a variety of animals from dogs and cats to opossums, raccoons, birds, snakes, chickens, rats and mice.
